The Divine Plan is a 2019 documentary film about the alliance between Ronald Reagan and Pope John Paul II to win the Cold War directed by Robert Orlando. There is also a companion book by Paul Kengor and Robert Orlando, The Divine Plan: Reagan, John Paul II and the Dramatic End of the Cold War.[1][2][3]
The film was the best-performing documentary when it was viewed in theaters nationwide on November 6, 2019.[4][5][6] The film was screened at the Vatican[7] and the White House.[8][9][10][11]
