The End of a Married Man (Arabic: نهاية رجل تزوج transliterated as Nehayet Ragol Tazawag) is an Egyptian comedy film released on November 21, 1983. The film is directed by Adel Sadeq, features a screenplay written by Faisal Nada, and stars Poussi, Samir Ghanem, Sayed Zayan, Hala Fakher, Aly El Cherif, Mazhar Abdol Naga, and Dalal Abdel Aziz.[1]
Plot[edit]
Samson marries Hadia, the daughter of Mr. Mahmoud, a plumber. After marriage, he is surprised that his father-in-law has made him sign a number of checks for the dowry. Hadia travels abroad frequently to work as a translator, so Samson decides to travel to Upper Egypt to marry another woman. He chooses a sleepy, naïve rural girl as an ostensibly submissive helpmate. However, she is observant and rebels, demanding to be equal to his first wife.
