The Faction ( Supporters' group ) an officially recognized supporters' group for Major League Soccer's Atlanta United.[1][2][3]
History and Name[edit]
The Faction[4] began in 2015 to create an AUFC supporters group that passionately supported the club, the city, and the grassroots that support them both.[5]
The Faction "are parents, coaches, players and passionate supporters of Atlanta United with unique game day experiences, extraordinary events and a flare for food, fun and friendship. The Faction has a mission of using sport to help develop youth character and the language of soccer to promote tolerance, inclusivity, and the value of collaboration in achieving success."[6]
