The Fall Off is the upcoming sixth studio album by American rapper J. Cole, scheduled to be released in 2020. A video trailer was premiered at the Day N Vegas festival on November 1, 2019.

Background[edit]

On April 20, 2019, Cole released his album KOD[1], where the final track was titled 1985 (Intro to The Fall Off)[2], signifying that this track would be the introduction track to his next project, called "The Fall Off".[3]

On April 26, 2019, Cole responded to one of his fans asking for information about The Fall Off by saying "Workin on it."[4]

On November 1, 2019, Cole announced that he would be releasing The Fall Off in 2020[5], with a trailer which widely resembled a presidential campaign.
