The Fight Magazine is Southern California's monthly LGBTQ publication, in print and online (www.thefightmag.com). The publication is distributed freely at gay bars, clubs and gay friendly businesses throughout Southern California.[citation needed] Founded in 2011 the publication covers topics of interest to the LGBTQ community. As of August 2020 the magazine claims a 112,500 monthly readership throughout Southern California.[citation needed] And over 1 million visitors to the Website per month.[citation needed]
In May 2014, the actor Van Hansis (As The World Turns, Eastsiders) came out in an interview in The Fight.[1]
Company mission[edit]
The Fight Magazine advocates for LGBT rights in every aspect of life, be it HIV advancements and management, gay adoption, anti-gay bullying and discrimination to in-depth features on prominent members of the GLBT community in the art world, culture and news.[citation needed]
