Hosts

Sizwe Dhlomo aka Scatter Brain

Sizwe Dhlomo is a South African radio and television presenter, show host and farmer of Durban origin.[4] Even though he is not active in the hip-hop industry as a rapper, he's spent a fair share of his life writing raps and battling as "Scatterbrain". In June 2012, one of the show's frequent features Chippa M took to Twitter to criticize the show hosts accusing them of being biased towards certain artists and misusing the platform they’ve created. Sizwe called out the artist to come to the show so he could express his frustrations through a rap battle against him. The battle resulted with many listeners crowning Sizwe as the winner, with one of South Africa's renowned rapper & poet Tumi aka Stogie T commenting "I saw a video of @SizweDhlomo demolishing some dude in a battle. I just don’t want to ever be associated with rappers anymore.” “If a T.V personality isn't afraid to battle on his radio show, why these so called beasts so fucking scared of a written league. Shocking.” [5]

Prior to the show, rappers are required to go through a screening process where they showcase their skill and if good enough, advance to the studio to take part of the Unsigned Hour between 23:00-00:00. During this hour, rappers are given an opportunity to rap over beats that they either brought in themselves or given by the hosts.
