The Godfather Tony Capone
Tony Mura is a former International professional wrestler competing under the name “The Godfather" Tony Capone.
Training and Debut[edit][edit]
Capone was introduced into the industry by S.D. Jones who brought him to be trained under Bobby Bold Eagle in Brooklyn. Feeling that their styles clashed, Capone then went to Pascarelli's where his first day of training was at the hands of Tony Altomare and "Dr D." David Schultz. Later on, he was trained by former WWF/ WWE wrestler Mario Mancini. His in ring debut was in 1984.

Capone worked for many organizations such as WWWA, IWCCW, IWF, ICW, UWF (Herb Abrams), WWF ,and the NAWA (Northeast).

Notable Feuds[edit][edit]
One of Capone's most notable feuds came at the expense of his former trainer Mancini, for whom he believed, took too much credit for Capone's success. Other major rivalries included legends "Ravishing" Rick Rude as well as Hercules Hernandez, who he battled and traded the NAWA Heavyweight Title with, and Jimmy Snuka. The rivalry with Snuka carried on for decades, including an event in September 2012 at a wrestling event held during the Mount Vernon Arts on Third Festival.
