Development[edit]
On November 15, 2016, Paramount Pictures acquired the rights to ‘’The Green Hornet’’ with Sean O’Keefe writing the script and Gavin O'Connor set to direct and produce the film with Chernin Entertainment.[1] On January 29, 2020, the rights lapsed and Michael Helfant and Bradley Gallo will produce the film through their Amasia Entertainment banner,[2] and on April 16, 2020, Universal Pictures was set to distribute and retitle the film.[3]
