Background
The song is a soundtrack from the movie Student of the Year 2 starring Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria.[2] Alia Bhatt joins Tiger Shroff in the song as a cameo.[3]

A music video for the song was released on 30 April 2019.[4] It received 20 million views within 24 hours of its release. The video had 67 million views by 19 May.[5]
Critical reception
Though the song became popular in parties and bars in India, and the chemistry between Tiger Shroff and Alia Bhatt was loved, it was also criticized for vulgarity.[6]

It topped many charts in the Indian Subcontinent as well as the UK. It reached the top 20 in the Asian UK Charts[7] and Mirchi Top 20 in India.[8][9]
