The Hunt At Green Acres is a multi-season reality television series that chronicles curious events on a farm located on the Pembina river in Alberta, Canada. The American television production delves into summer programs that take place regarding daily visiting and chores which happen on the farm.
The program premiered on May 8, 2022 to accompany other History Channel shows The Curse of Oak Island and The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch. To date it has run for 7 seasons, with the eighth assured to arrive sooner or later.
Premise
The Hunt At Green Acres follows actor-publicist Nick Barraclough and is the result of his efforts to document activity on the farm during the summer. The series is made up of short, minute-long or 40-second long episodes depending on what is necessary. Taking place in summer, episodes often air sporadically on a daily basis at 11PM EST after production takes place on day trips to the farm. Seasons premiere in spring of each year, but go on hiatus until July or even September, waiting for new opportunities for trips.
Green Acres is owned by Louis and Judy, a retired couple, who vacation to Mexico in winter, forcing production to wrap until summer months.
