International Business School (IBS) in Manchester is an independent private higher education institution in England. It was established in 2021 with an ethos of delivering business education with a focus on ethical and sustainable business principles. It is registered with The UK Register of Learning Providers (UKRLP) (UKPRN: 10091076) and its programmes are accredited by Qualifi, and OFQUAL recognised awarding body in the UK.
Upon completion of their studies, students receive a UK Diploma with a description of the level, content and status of the training they have passed. The International Business School programmes lead to BSc in Business and Management and MBA degrees.
Since 27 November 2023, the International Business School has opened doors for its students with a programme delivered in collaboration with the University of Bari, Italy. The IBS started education in July 2023 in a new academic building in Sale, Greater Manchester, which is located at 2 Oriel Court, Ashfield Road, Sale, M33 3DF. The academic building contains 4 classrooms, with modern equipment and within easy reach of the town centre and tram station.
Educational programmes[edit]
The IBS offers diploma programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Upon completion, students can enrol with partner UK universities to pursue TopUp BSc or TopUp MBA degrees.
Research[edit]
Research activities at IBS are concentrated in two research centres, Mobilities Research Centre (MoRe) and Sustainability and Family Business Centre (SuFa).
The IBS supports several international conferences and hosted the 5th Taste of City, Tourism, Food and Place Conference in 11-14 December 2023 in Manchester. The School is also among the organisers and supporters of the Migration Conference series.
International programmes[edit]
IBS delivers a collaborative master level programme in Diversity and Migration Management with the University of Bari, Department of Political Science in Italy.
