Early last year, the website released a rare video of herdsmen rearing cattle into the Nigeria National Assembly complex, though many criticised the media house for releasing such a video at that time, but it will later be used by BBC.[2]
Also, the website wrote an investigative report[disambiguation needed] on how student money has been embezzled by some government officials, this report was a subject of controversy in Kwara State for days before Sahara Reporters will also butress in it.[3]
Over the last 2 years of establishment, The Informant247 has maintain a certain level of objectivity among online newspaper companies in Kwara state. The website shut down during the last 2019 general elections due to traffic as the site was updating live report of incidence.[4]
