The InnerCity Mission for Children
The InnerCity Mission for Children is a faith-based non-governmental humanitarian organization under the auspices of the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI).[1]
The InnerCity Mission for Children aims to help children and families living in poverty[2] by providing them with medical services, educational materials and nutritional programs. The organization also operates a food bank, primary and nursery schools and mentorship programs.[3][4]
The InnerCity Mission for Children was known as the InnerCity Mission of Christ Embassy until 2016.[5]
Global initiatives
In 2020, the InnerCity Mission for Children donated food to the government of Lagos State, Nigeria as a response to the lockdown imposed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.[1]
