The Institute is an upcoming American limited television series based on the 2019 book of the same name by Stephen King. The story will follow Luke Ellis, a gifted young boy whose is taken to the Institute, a secret facility where children with telepathic or telekinetic powers are taken.

On September 10, 2019, the date of the novel's publication, it was announced that the television rights were secured by David E. Kelley and Jack Bender, the producers of Mr. Mercedes, another adaptation of one of King's works, for a limited series.[1]
