The Jamia Times is an English and Hindi language Indian general news and opinion website. It was founded in 2019 by editor Ahmed Khabeer.[1]

History[edit]

The Jamia Times pioneered upon the efforts of two college students of Jamia Millia Islamia. Jamia Times's beginnings were from the ideas of finding new platforms for raising their voice in the world of journalism which is very fast growing today. Facebook page was the very first platform in the first year. The Jamia Times, through its social media platforms, was capable of drawing large readers to such an initiative which stood out from the existing news media[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10]
