The KUBS Worldwide Business Research Rankings ™ is an annual university ranking made by the Center for Business Research Analytics at Korea University Business School (KUBS). Starting from October 2015, KUBS has initiated its own ranking and has since announced the rankings results every October. The ranking is one of the first rankings in Korea, published by a college level evaluating worldwide universities[1] and focuses on evaluating a broader list of academic journals compared to previous rankings available. The rankings include research articles published during the last five years excluding the current year, and the ranking scores are calculated based on a selection of 86 distinguished business journals in seven different areas: Accounting, Finance, International Business (IB) & Strategy, Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), Marketing, and Operations Management & Management Science (OM/MS).
Type of Ranking[edit]
The rankings consist of Worldwide Rankings, Rankings by Academic Area, and Rankings by Journal. The Worldwide Rankings include publications of all journals within the designated period, while the other two rankings.[2][3]allow free selection of single or multiple areas of study or the journals by titles. The range of included publications for Rankings by Academic Area and Rankings by Journal may vary based on your selections for the publication year combined with the publication season of either S (Spring, January-June) or F (Fall, July-December).
Journal List and Selection[edit]
The KUBS Worldwide Business Research Rankings ™ rank each year’s journal publications to rank universities. By adopting the Delphi approach, 86 journals have been thoroughly selected and reviewed based on expert opinions and insights derived by repeated discrete sessions of in-depth examination.
