The Legacy of Brutality, often shortened to L.O.B. is a professional wrestling stable. As a formation consisting of independent wrestlers, they perform in various promotions such as Ohio Valley Wrestling, Resistance Pro Wrestling and seldomly making appearances for Impact Wrestling due to OVW being the latter's developmental territory. They are currently the OVW Southern Tag Team Champions in their fourth reign as a stable.
History
Ohio Valley Wrestling (2016-present)
The stable originally debuted as a tag team of Big Zo[1] and Hy-Zaya on the July 20, 2016 episode of OVW TV Tapings in a losing effort to JXT and Trevor Steele. [2] Big Zo and Hy-Zaya have been managed by Josh Ashcraft since their debut. On the September 7th episode of OVW TV Tapings, Big Zo and Hy-Zaya defeated Adam Revolver and The Mexicutioner to capture the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship for the first time. Revolver and Mex had only been champions for 4 days, having defeated The Van Zandt Family Circus the previous week's OVW Saturday Night Special.[3] On the November 2nd episode of OVW TV Tapings, Ca$h Flo joined the stable after winning a match in which he teamed up with Big Zo and Hy-Zaya defeating Billy O, Lukas Jacobs and Kevin Giza. On the January 4th episode of OVW TV Tapings, Dapper Dan Van Zandt betrayed The Van Zandt Family Circus and joined the stable, shortening his name to Dapper Dan ever since.[4] He defeated Tony Gunn at OVW Run for the Ropes 2018 to become the inaugural OVW Anarchy Champion.[5] The stable has had notable title reigns, Big Zo being a former 3-time OVW Television Champion. Jay Bradley joined the stable in the summer of 2019. The last member to join was Steve Michaels who debuted as part of the stable on the August 4th, 2020 episode of OVW TV Tapings.
Resistance Pro Wrestling (2018)
Hy-Zaya wrestled for a while in the Illinois-based promotion Resistance Pro Wrestling where he had a brief feud with Shane Mercer.[6] The two later captured the RPW Tag Team Championship by defeating The Gym Nasty Boyz (Timmy Lou Retton & White Mike) at Resistance Chapter I: Creation, the inaugural show of the promotion re-opened by Billy Corgan.[7]
Impact Wrestling (2019-present)
The stable have had a few notable appearances on Impact Wrestling, due to OVW being its developmental territory. The most important of them was a four-way match in which Big Zo defeated fellow members Ca$h Flo and Jay Bradley, and Moose.[8] Jay Bradley made two more appearances in Impact. He fought Willie Mack at Sacrifice (2020) in a losing effort[9], and Moose at Impact Wrestling/OVW Outbreak also in a losing effort.[10]
