The Lost Boy: the great adventure[1] is a children's book written and illustrated by child author, Shalom Keshet[2][3][4][5]. and first published in 2020. The story follows a boy who got lost in a forest and he searches for his father in a mysterious jungle and on his adventurous journey, he comes across wunderkinder while searching his father and faces tough odds to survive. In this story, the characters are fictionalised. He created a set of AI fictional characters who feel human emotions and he mixed them up with real-life events and it comes out as fictional life [6][7][8][9]

Background[edit]

Shalom Keshet is an eight year old precocious author. He is known by his nickname Natty. At 7, Google awarded him for his creativity. He was a national finalist [10] of Doodle4Google India 2018. His doodle titled Nature's Tiny Workers [11] was featured in Hindustan Times [12]and other journals[13]. Also, his artwork [14]was exhibited at NASA on Apollo's 50th Anniversary.

He honored with SOF HALL OF FAME [15] by Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF).

NASA Astronaut Sunita Williams encourages [16]him for his interest in becoming an astronaut that makes him write adventure stories. He does not only excel in academics but also a prolific and much applauded author and a creative young boy [17].

Shalom's literary works were published in the leading journal, The Times of India NIE. At 5, his first poem, The Wings [18] published in The Times of India (TOI) NIE.
