The Lupulin Exchange

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The Lupulin Exchange (LEx) is a business-to-business online marketplace for hops used by commercial breweries, hop growers, and hop merchants.[1][2] It was founded in 2014; the founding group included John Bryce, who serves as president and chief executive officer and hosts the Master Brewers Podcast.[2]

Coverage

Trade press has described LEx as a secondary-market venue for hops and has reported on brewery-to-brewery resales and participation by growers and merchants.[1] Independent reporting has cited the marketplace in coverage of shifts in hop supply and demand.[3] Industry presentations have referenced the platform’s data in analyses of pricing and inventory dynamics.[4]

In September 2025, LEx and Yakima Chief Hops announced a collaboration to launch the marketplace in Europe.[5][6]
