The Maachis Project

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The Maachis Project is created by Aakansha Kukreja & Aakash Doshi while studying at Srishti School of Art, Design, and Technology in Bengaluru when they came up with the idea.[1] It is an ode to the matchbox. Through this informational canvas, they aim to highlight all the bizarre, iconic and delightful parts of Indian Culture. The project has evolved from picking up vintage artwork and recreating it to creating their own original artwork.[2][3] It had featured at the Naariyal Paani Music Festival 2017 in Alibaug.[4] They had created a series of matchboxes which looked at conservation of sea creatures and heritage sites of Alibaug.
