The Maya Effect is a collaborative live album between Roberto Paci Dalò and Robin Rimbaud, lot of sound materials are caught in the landscapes and between human conversations at the location Vigna S. Martino, Naples, the day before the performance completely improvised. Then, through the mastering we have the effective CDs[1]

L’editing conclusivo dei suoni raccolti (“ritmi sfuggenti, found voices, cori ed energia nervosa”) contempla i materiali utilizzati sia per l’ambizioso live serale (di tre ore) che per l’album, completamente improvvisato e senza alcuna sessione di prove preliminari.Paci Dalò e Scanner riescono a costruire un percorso sonoro intrigante all’interno di Vigna San Martino, locus amoenus collinare ai margini della città: i campioni delle voci, dei rumori urbani lontani, dei fruscii del vento, di tutte le componenti di questo paesaggio limitare, si materializzano in un quadro pulsante, virato attraverso un filtro ora elegiaco, ora decisamente mosso e inquieto.
