Plot

In 48 AD, as the Roman persecution toward Christians is widespread, Tychicus, a follower of The Way, meets with Lazarus, another follower of The Way, to help Mary Magdalene see Jesus' mother, Mary, who has a fever at that time. Mary Magdalene informs Mary about the growth of the church, tells the disciples' missions all over the place, which involves Simon Z. in Persia, Lebanon, Armenia, and reports what happened to the boys, which includes the impending arrest of Andrew in Greece and the deaths of Big James and Nathanael that embolden the other disciples, especially Peter, for Mary to pray over. Afterward, Mary asks Mary Magdalene where is Luke, a follower who has been gathering eyewitness accounts regarding Jesus, and after learning Luke is in Rome with Paul, Mary recounts to Mary Magdalene her experience in 4 BC from the journey to Bethlehem where she and her husband Joseph couldn't get a room at the inn due to their situation, and to the manger where she gives birth to Jesus. Mary gives the account of the shepherds too, shares her song as well, and gives Mary Magdalene the piece of clothing from the manger where Jesus is born. After Mary tells her and Joseph's perspective of the birth of Jesus to Mary Magdalene, she instructs her to write down the complete story of Jesus' birth and her song to deliver them to Luke. In Rome, Mary Magdalene gives the account and a thorough story of Jesus' birth to Luke to include and add in Luke's writings.
