The Mission is a Canadian web series workplace comedy co-created by Marie-Marguerite Sabongui and Benedict Moran. The series stars Colin Mochrie, Marie-Marguerite Sabongui, and Etan Muskat. Canadian actor and stunt performer Patrick Sabongui is an executive producer and advisor of the series. The series is filmed in Toronto but takes place at the United Nations, and follows Jasmine (aka Jaz), an idealistic Canadian diplomat who tries to make a difference but must first learn to navigate the eccentric characters and impossibilities of international diplomacy.
The series was selected for the inaugural Sundance Institute - Youtube 2016 New Voices Lab,[1] the 2016 New York Television Festival,[2] and the 2017 IFP Film Week.[3]
