Reception[edit]

Reception has generally been positive of the album. Staff Reviewer Fernando Alves on Sputnikmusic called it a '"Teutonic Thrash Metal classic. Metal meets german beer! Some good moments but not an essential Thrash album."[4] A reviewer from Rock Hard gave it high praise, mentioning how the band has gotten even better since their previous album, and that "everything is a bit harder and more brutal" than on the predecessor. "The Morning After isn't the revelation that some might have been expecting, in my opinion, but a solid and potent follow-up album."[5]
