The Open College, is a distance learning college established in 2004 in Dublin, Ireland.[1] They provide over 60 further education courses via Distance/Online Learning, mainly in social and healthcare.[2] In 2008 the college gained FETAC recognition and from 2012 its successor, the QQI. The College is based in Leopardstown in Dublin. Commencing September 2021, the college runs two online degrees: a level 7 BA degree in early childcare, and a level 8 BA Honours degree in healthcare, awarded by Oxford Brookes University.[3]
