The official name is "The person I loved asked me to die in her sister's place. -Why did my unrequited love, who married my sister, come to me now? I thought-. The abbreviation is "Koisutita Hito wa. The illustrations are by Toyota Saori. It was serialized on the novel posting site "Shōsetsuka ni Narō" from November 20, 2020 to September 28, 2022, and then became unpublished on the site on October 1. The book version has been published by TO Books since September 2021. In addition, a comic version by Maki Yamori has been serialized on TO Books' web comic site ``Corona EX since June 6, 2022.

「It won 12th place in the overall category and 7th place in the web-published book category in "Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! 2021, and 9th place in the book category in "Next Light Novel Award 2022. . Summary[edit]

Wisteria, a former count's daughter, had an unrequited love for Bright, a childhood friend of the duke's family, while Bright had feelings for Wisteria's step sister, Rosalie.  Since he cannot use magic, Wisteria has been researching the Predawn Realm, which is related to the origin of magic. One day, Rosalie is chosen to be the guardian of the Predawn Realm. It means being sacrificed, and at Bright's request, Wisteria fulfills the duty as the guardian of the Predawn Realm. Then one day after 23 years, Wisteria meets a man named Lloyd who resembles Bright.

Wisteria Irene

She is the main character of the story. A woman who has served as a guardian in the Predawn Realm for 23 years, and she works together with the holy sword Saltis who is able to talk. Although her real age is over 40, her appearance has not changed from before. Apparently, in her original world, she is feared as a "witch.

Holy sword Saltis

A sword with a will that has existed since the age of mythology. It works with Wisteria in the "Predawn Realm". Due to its great power and ego, No one has been its master for a long time.

A young man who came to the "Predawn Realm". He is the son of Bright and Rosalie. He declares that he will defeat Wisteria and take her holy sword Saltis into his hands, he also asks to become her apprentice.
