The Real Housewives of Budapest (abbreviated RHOB), is a Hungarian reality television series that debuted on RTL Hungary. Developed as an international installment of the Real Housewives franchise, it documents the personal and professional lives of several women residing in Budapest. It is the second installment in the country, as the format was already used in The Real Housewives of Hungary, which aired 4 seasons between 2017 and 2020 on Viasat 3. After a 3-year hiatus, from 2023 the show was supposed to continue on the RTL+ streaming service, but later RTL Hungary announced that the show would continue with a new title on the linear TV channel.[1] Later, the company also announced that the show would premiere with entirely new cast members on December 4, 2023.[2]
