The Regatta is a 44-story high-rise designed by DeStefano + Partners and developed by Magellan Development Group. Completed in 2006, The Regatta is located at 420 E. Waterside Drive in the Lakeshore East area of Chicago. The tower's dual elliptical glass curtain walls were designed to reflect the surrounding blues of the Chicago River and Lake Michigan.[2]
The building is currently planning buildout of a 4,000 square foot gym facility on the first floor. The space was acquired by the Condominium from the Developer, who had originally used the space for several years as their sales center for the Lakeshore East Development. The Condominium is targeting completion for the 2014 holiday season.
