The Screening is a 1998 American documentary movie designed to show behind-the-scenes footage of Dexter's Laboratory (the original version of The Days in the Lives of Beau). It showed transformation from Dexter's Laboratory to The Days in the Lives of Beau, including the show's creator, band They Might Be Giants (whose John Linnell's wife created the documentary), artists and voice cast being dismayed by the new direction. The major theme is creative-executive conflicts.
