The Seal Hunters is a 1973 New Zealand short film. It was produced by the National Film Unit.[1]
Synopsis[edit]
This short black and white film follows three young people on a road trip from Wellington looking for a seal colony.[1] Driving the along the coast past Wainuiomata the trio discuss paua ashtrays, waning youth, marriage, the state of New Zealand television, and life in general.[1]
