The Seven. This is a general reference to the seven people who were involved with the discovery of a subterranean cavern situated under Loch Lomond in Scotland. The story of the discovery was shrouded in skepticism due to the accounts given by the individuals involved. When interviewed on 18th April 1998, all gave the same account of the events that had taken place on the 12th April 1998. It was when photographic evidence that corroborated their story was produced that people started to take notice and realise the astounding nature of the discovery. The Seven - 1998.[1]
To this day, no-one has managed to locate the entrance to the subterranean cavern. Various expeditions have taken place over the past 2 decades without success. Although evidence of newly disturbed rock formations are apparent at the top of Ben Lomond which is in alignment with the story that the access to the cavern collapsed when the top of the mountain fell inwards. All of this is well documented in the local libraries but in the folklore section. The most compelling evidence contained within the photographs obtained from that day are held at the British Natural History Museum and stored in the 'unexplained' vault. The Seven - Unexplained.[2]
