The Sodbury Players are a dramatic association well known throughout South-West England, UK. They were founded in 1946 in Chipping Sodbury, Gloucestershire. Sixty years on, they are affiliated to the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA), and are members of Avon Association of Drama (AAD).

They perform four main productions each year, beginning with a pantomime in January, a spring production in May, an open-air production in August and an Autumn production in September. The Sodbury Players have also premièred several original works, including the three-act play Booze, Bungee and Blackleg by Steve Mercer and The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, adapted for the stage by Roy Whitlow.

In addition to this, they enter a one-act play into the All England One Act Play Festival each year, which starts in February.

The Sodbury Players Youth Section(SPYS) placed in the top four in the country for the One Act festival.
