The Southern African Times is a regional bloc digital newspaper that covers predominantly Southern Africa news and also world news. The news platform was founded by Zimbabwean journalist Farai Muvuti[1] in 2018 and it reports on business, sports, entertainment, foreign affairs, arts and culture related news.
The Southern African Times publishes print editions that include SAT Travel which is a monthly magazine. SAT's media distribution is accessed directly through its website and through a news digital distribution company PressReader.[2] The content is mainly market advice, world news and feature articles detailing African business stories. The Southern African Times was nominated for the Global African Awards[3][4] and in 2018 it was The Media House of the year[5] at the Zimbabwe Achievers Awards UK.[6]
