The Southern Suite
The Southern Suite is the debut studio album by American jazz pianist Sean Mason. It was released on October 27, 2023, on Blue Engine Records, the in-house label of Jazz at Lincoln Center.[1] The album features Mason's working quintet.

Reception
DownBeat described the album as Mason "at his most integrated—and most definitive."[2] NPR wrote that the instrumental album's "music does a lot of talking."[3] JAZZIZ called it "instantly accessible."[4] The Bitter Southerner named it one of the Best Southern Albums of 2023.[5]
The album debuted at the top of the JazzWeek chart's "Highest Debut" category.[6]
