The State Museum of the History of Religion (formerly the State Museum of the History of Religion and Atheism of the Ministry of Culture of the USSR, the Museum of the History of Religion and Atheism of the Acafemy of Sciences of the USSR, the Museum of the History of Religion of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR). The Museum is located in Saint-Petersburg on 14, Pochtamtskaya street from 2000, in 1932 - 2000 was housed in the Kazan Cathedral (which was returned to the Russian Orthodox Church in 1990-s).
