"The Tides of War – Live at Rock Hard Festival 2016" is an EP by the German power metal band Blind Guardian, released in 2018.[1] The title track is a previously unreleased song written for the 1998 studio album Nightfall in Middle-Earth that was recorded during the Beyond the Red Mirror sessions, using bass guitar and drum tracks from the original Nightfall in Middle-Earth session. The remaining songs were recorded live at the Rock Hard Festival in 2016.
