The Totem Pole 3 was the third season of the original YouTube reality series known as The Totem Pole. The season featured 14 contestants from around the country vying for a shot at winning a prize package. This season will air on July 7th, 2020.
Format[edit]
The Show has 5 Steps
1. The Totem Challenge:
At the beginning of every round, we will play in a game for the top of the totem pole. This player is safe from the elimination AND the vote. The first challenge will have a new shocking twist and will take the game to a whole new level.
2. The Placement:
The top of the totem pole must place all the other players on the totem pole from top to bottom in front of everyone. At the end of the round, whoever is at the bottom of the totem pole is eliminated from the game.
3. The Switch:
The switch this season is decided differently. In the first round all players vote for a switch. in the second round and on the switch is decided by the 2 previous eliminated contestants.
4. The Defender:
The player at the bottom of the totem pole has one final chance to save themselves. They will put their game in the hands of someone else. They will pick ONE Defender. This person will go in front of everyone and make a selection:
A) Save the bottom of the totem pole & someone else is eliminated at random
(or)
B) Eliminate the bottom of the totem pole & Take power in the game
This season the defender will not be safe from the vote or the random elimination.
5. The Vote:
The surviving players will go inside and have roughly 20 minutes to strategize before the vote. Whichever player receives the most votes will be eliminated from the game. The Bottom 5 will be up for vote. The Top of the Totem Pole is immune from the vote.

- ^Note 1 : The eliminated contestants had a chance to return to the game with Derrick winning the competition.
- ^Note 2 : Derrick chose the save card which triggered a twist in which Jase and Jackie (The top and bottom of the totem pole) took turns placing the totem pole in which the bottom player would be eliminated.
- ^Note 3 : Shane played a secret advantage in which he could cancel the switch's decision resulting in the placements staying the same.
- ^Note 4 : Jackie chose the save card which triggered a twist resulting in the bottom 5 players having to battle with the loser being eliminated.
- ^Note 5 : The votes resulted in a tie which resulted in a revote.
- ^Note 6 : Jackie requested to be voted out, however, she didn't actually quit the competition so she will be listed as eliminated and will still be a member of the jury.
- ^Note 7 : Derrick played a secret advantage where he could move up 2 placements on the totem pole making him #5 bumping Sabrina to #6 and Kadia to #7.
- ^Note 8 : Sabrina played her expose card making all of the votes public this round.
- ^Note 9 : Derrick chose the save card which triggered a twist that put Shane (the bottom of the totem pole) at the #2 position. Shane had to save another contestant and he placed Josh at #3. After that Josh placed Derrick at #4 and Jase at #5 eliminating Jase.
