the stage of the Vaayu fest

Vaayu Fest, also known as Vaayu, is an inter-collegiate fest hosted by the Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) in Mumbai, India. It typically takes place towards the end of January. Vaayu's focus is on empowerment[1], aligning with its tagline "Get Empowered." The fest strives to empower the youth of the nation through various activities and initiatives. It serves as a platform for fostering positive change and has gained popularity among colleges in and around Mumbai.

Unlike most college fests, Vaayu centres around a theme, dedicating itself to embodying the essence of that theme and promoting societal improvements[2]. Originating in 2010 as Mayhem, the fest was rebranded as Vaayu Fest in 2012. Since then, it has steadily gained recognition and secured a position among the prominent college fests in the country.

This segment draws a large audience, generating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and vitality. The festival has welcomed accomplished figures like Shaan, Jasleen Royal, Anubhav Singh Bassi, Samay Raina, and Armaan Malik, as well as hosting various casts from movies like Airlift, Jersey, Chhichore, Cirkus, and more.

Vaayu also distinguishes itself through innovative concept nights, which add an extra dimension to the fest's ambiance. These concept nights, such as the Glow Party featured within the Dancing DJ night and a Bollywood night, enhance the festive experience, and create lasting memories for participants. Vaayu's growing popularity positions it as a highly anticipated event for cultural enthusiasts both in Mumbai and beyond.
