The Von Tramps are an American rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota formed in 2015[1] with an international following. The band is fronted by founding members guitarist/vocalist Jenna Enemy and guitarist Chelsea Oxborough. In 2017 bassist Krissandra Anfinson was added to the group. They have been supported by drummers Kieran O'Donohue, Claudio Rivera, Derek Malchow, Brad Klotz, and Dustin Phillips. The Von Tramps tour with a horn section featuring trombonist Rick Bisenus, saxophonist/vocalist Dante Leyva, and trumpeter Little Jessi Dills. The band has said in various interviews that Enemy's dog Hans, a Bloodhound, is their unofficial mascot and secret 4th member of the group. Their recorded tracks feature contributions from members of Mustard Plug, The Ataris, Space Monkey Mafia, and other peer rock groups.

The groups debut 2018 album, The Future is Female, was successful in the west coast market landing radio play on many California-based stations. Former KROQ DJ and affectionately nicknamed "Mayor of the Sunset Strip" Rodney Bingenheimer played the group consistently on his Sirius XM show Little Steven's Underground Garage; However the first DJ to break the group was former KROQ DJ Jimmy Alvarez TNN Radio show in Laguna Beach, California. The album's break out singles "14B," "New Year's Day," and "Sara" were strongly supported in weekly syndicated rotations with peer pop-punk groups Blink-182 and The Vandals.

Following the success of The Future is Female, the group co-produced the follow up EP entitled Sun's Out: Strung Out! in 2019 with producer Dustin Phillips. The summer themed ska punk EP helped the group break into their midwest market, adding support in Chicago, Milwaukee and Minneapolis. The EP's release concert was held at The Turf Club (A First Avenue Owned Venue) in Saint Paul, MN and for the first time to a sold out crowd.[2] Stand out singles from the EP include the pop-punk "L.A." and ska flavored track "Shark Bait." "Shark Bait" was included in ska-punk compilation What Do You Know About Ska Punk Vol. 4[3] and was featured on ska podcasts including "The Ska Show with Beefy" based in Australia[4]. The Suns Out: Strung Out! EP was mixed by pop-punk tenured producer Ryan Greene known for his work with Fat Wreck Chords. The Von Tramps supported this release by a rigorous touring schedule including special a appearance at the NAMM, a slew of West Coast and Midwest tour dates, and a SXSW tour that would ultimately be postponed in the face of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

During the pandemic, The Von Tramps quarantined together and wrote new material for a full length record. Once vaccines became available in April 2021, the group drove to producer Dustin Phillip's home studio located in Fort Collins, Colorado to record what would become the band's third release entitled: GO. Jenna Enemy described in podcast interview with pop-punk media outlet Mable Syndrome; "Go is a record about momentum...whatever greatness you're going to do after all this [pandemic] just do it. Just 'GO.'" In November 2021 The Von Tramps announced they had signed with SBÄM records; a new punk rock label created by Austrian graphic artist Stefan Beham.[5] GO is expected to release March of 2022 with American and International tour dates to follow.
