The animation Showcase is a traveling screening curating animated short films. The screening started in 2016 [1], with the support of the private members club Soho House [2], with the intention of spotting the best upcoming creative talents in the animation industry and to promote animation in the creative industry [3]. The animation Showcase screening proposes a yearly "Best of the Year" selection spotting most of the Shortlisted and Nominees for the Academy Awards category Best Animated Short Film. The animation Showcase has been screened in animation studios, startups or location such as Pixar animation studios, Google Youtube London [4] Blur Studio, Cartoon Network, Soho House (London, New York, Berlin, Shoreditch East London). The animation Showcase advice Academy Awards, Oscars® nominees qualified in the Category Best Animated Short Films as Garden Party in 2017-2018 [5]
Screening Format[edit]
The Short film selection lasts around 1 hour and ends with a Question & Answer session with invited Filmmakers from the selections. From 2015 until 2018, the Screenings were free entrance and/or on invitation.

Travelling mostly in Europe and in the US, this yearly selection has spotted few of the Shortlisted and Nominated Oscars Animated Short 4 months before the Academy Awards nominations official announcement.[6]

The animation Showcase screenings started as a series of themed selection, every premiered every 3 months at Soho House and Shoreditch House

The animation Showcase - Best Of Annecy Festival[edit]
Present every year on the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, the founder of The animation Showcase gather a selection of the best Animated Shorts discovered at the Festival for the people of the industry and Studios that didn't get the chance to go or to watch the films at the festival. This program first started with a selection of upcoming talent for the talents scouts, and finishes with a selection of the "Must see" Shorts to not miss from the established animation filmmakers.
