The evil grandmother and the tiny devil (Macedonian Folktale) Лошата баба и Ѓаволчето

The incompetent devil (Macedonian: Неспособниот ѓавол) is an archetype in Macedonian folktales and other south Slavic folktales; they are usually a devil or an evil spirit that doesn't have the skill to pull off evil acts.

In Folktales

In folktales, these characters are usually picked on by other devils or humans. They usually are shown not having the skill to pull off evil acts and often being helped by humans to pull off the acts in the story.

The good devil

In folktales, this is a subsection of the archetype where the devil tries to do something evil or mischievous but causes an accidental good outcome and helps out the person they were trying to bring misfortune upon, like in the folk tale Чиракот Шејтан translating to Satan the Apprentice.
