The state of Fupa

The creation of Fupa and ancient fuppian history

The Zárdom of Fupa (Fup. "Fupsko zárstvo") is a virtual micronation whose populace is located mainly in the city of Koprivnica in the Koprivničko-Križevačka county of Croatia.

It is speculated that the idea of Fupa was created in 2018 when two members of the "Antun Nemčić Gostovinski" middle school in Koprivnica, Luka Jovanović and Filip Petričević decided to come together and create their own state in their class. Their motives for creating this microstate are unclear to this day.

Throughout the following weeks, the population of this practically imaginary state grew one by one, encompassing up to around half their class. At the beginning, the political system of the state was a dual monarchy with both Luka and Filip at the head of the state, with various ministries in place like the ministry of finances, ministry of defence and many more.

To stay unique, the state of Fupa had its own alphabet (the old fuppian alphabet) and its own, though sadly not valuable currency (the Fupta).

At one point (This part of fuppian history is considered to be ancient fuppian history so some events are slightly unclear), the two kings decided that the current dualistic style of monarchy isn't going to work, but they couldn't decide who's going to be their next, sole leader so to make it fair, they had decided to organize the first ever fuppian elections for the first presidency. During these elections, the population had two choices for president, Filip or Luka and the outcome of the first election was, to everyone's surprise, equal. Immediately, another vote was held and the outcome this time was, with only one vote of difference, a victory for Filip.

After his victory, the population of Fupa was quite unhappy with their new president, so much so that two new alphabets were created (The natofuppian and the supernatofuppian alphabets) with a goal to share information behind the new president's back without him having the ability to know what is going on. The general population decided to send Filip to court, so one day a primitive court of law was organized in school and Filip was then proclaimed to be a criminal.

As the school year was slowly coming to an end, the idea of Fupa was slowly fading away with Filip tearing up one of the last existing alphabets and losing all of the fuppian fuptas. This came to be one of the last nails in the coffin of the state of Fupa as after this, it was almost completely forgotten as it was left practically unmentioned for the next 3 years.

Modern fuppian history can be divided into multiple parts, all with their own unique historical complexities:

3. The republic of Fupa (Republika Fupa)
4. Lucrative republic of Fupa (Lukrativna republika Fupa)
5. Azeleratian Fupa (Azeleratska Fupa)
6. the Zárdom of Fupa (Fupsko Zárstvo)
