TheBookshop.ie is an independent bookshop and online bookshop located on Patrick Street in Templemore. Originally established in Thurles, the warehouse was originally located in Athid, between Thurles and Templemore. The business and warehouse moved to an expanded site in the centre of Templemore town in March 2025. The main focus of the online bookshop is on used, vintage and secondhand books, as well as secondhand bulk and wholesale book supply.
Conor Pope of the Irish Times noted in 2020 - The BookShop.ie has more than 50,000 second-hand books for €2.50 or less, with free delivery on orders of more than €20. It has other books that cost more than that, too. Lots and lots of them. [2]
The bookshop also buys books directly from customers instore and via An Post.
