Then Comes the Evening is a Serbian short documentary film, directed by Maja Novaković and released in 2019. A glimpse into the lives of two old women who share solitude in the hills of Eastern Bosnia. The care they have for each other is not composed of words, but rather their daily conduct. They are in a conversation with the land, welcoming the voices of nature, and the songs of a memory that is dying out.[1]
The film premiered at the 50th Visions du Réel.[2] on April 9th 2019.
