Thero Makepe (born 1996) is a multimedia artist born and raised in Gaborone, Botswana. He works across Gaborone, Botswana, and Cape Town and Johannesburg in South Africa; he primarily employs photography to explore narratives both personal and societal regarding his upbringing in these two countries.[1][2] He earned his Bachelor of Fine Art with distinction from the University of Cape Town, specialising in photography.
