Thomas Fogarty (1873 – 1938) was an American illustrator of magazines and books. While in New York City, Fogarty attended the Art Students League where he studied under H. Siddons Mowbray and Carroll Beckwith. From 1905 until 1922, Fogarty was an illustration instructor there and influenced many 20th century illustrators, including students Norman Rockwell, McClelland Barclay, Walter Biggs, William Galbraith Crawford, George Edward Porter, and Edmund Franklin Ward.[1]
