Dr. Thomas Christoph Eng Fuk Irawan (俞 礽 褔) (born 12 February 1978 in Rheinberg) is a German scientist, automotive executive and public speaker.[1][2][3] who is the current CEO and President of the ETAS GmbH, a wholly owned Robert Bosch subsidary. He has been at this post since 1st Oct. 2023[4]

His previous post was head of the business unit of Advanced driver-assistance systems [5][6]. He has been at the post since September 2018.[7][8][9][10]. That time he has been also site manager[11][12] of the engineering development site and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems headquarter in Leonberg of the Robert Bosch GmbH. In January 2022, he signed for Bosch an extensive partnership with the Volkswagen Group subsidiary Cariad[5][13]

Early years[edit]

Irawan was born 1978 in Orsoy (today Rheinberg) as son of a German mother and a Indonesian (Javanese) - Chinese father.[14][1][3]
