Thomas Stonewell (born 20 December 1983 in Sopron, Hungary) is a Hungarian-born, United Kingdom-based composer, author, and producer. Also releasing music under the moniker Atomm, Stonewell is the founder of the talent management program Aurora Creative Studio (ACS) and the media company Stonewell Productions, which spans international consulting, music production, and book publishing.[1]

Early life and business career

Stonewell was born in Sopron, Hungary, on 20 December 1983. He spent a significant portion of his early life in the village of Völcsej, where he served as a cantor. He was introduced to music by his grandfather, who taught him to play the organ and accordion. He initially began his higher education in Information Technology before transitioning into international business. The stage name "Stonewell" is an English translation adopted to honor his grandmother's maiden name, Köveskuti.[1]

Relocating to the United Kingdom, Stonewell established himself as an international business consultant, notably holding directorial roles at Billbarter UK Ltd. His achievements as a financial expert have been recognized in international trade press. According to Yahoo Finance, he played a key role as a partner to Global Equity International Inc. (GEI) in preparing multi-million dollar equity transactions and leverage agreements, assisting companies with global capital market entry.[2]

As an innovator, he is also credited with the "Okos Papír" (Smart Paper) concept (okospapir.hu), which combines physical printing products with QR-code-based digital content.

Talent management and media

Stonewell founded Aurora Creative Studio (ACS), a program specifically focused on talent management and mentoring. He supports talented youth with music composition, publishing, and performance skills development. His goal is to make modern music production and self-publishing accessible to the next generation.

All of his other creative endeavors are managed under the umbrella of Stonewell Productions. His background in media also includes conducting an interview with the late English-American author and occultist Raymond Buckland.[3]

As a producer and composer, Stonewell is highly prolific. His work ranges from jazz and mythology-inspired series to industrial-gothic and metal genres. In 2024, he participated in the 13th season of the Hungarian X-Faktor.[4] His musical catalog also includes socially conscious tracks, such as Roppan Reccsen, which addresses themes of anti-hate speech.

He has released numerous albums and singles, including modern musical adaptations of classical literature. Notably, his track Shakespeare's Hamlet and Juliet was accompanied by an official music video that became one of his most popular releases, distributed globally across YouTube and VEVO. His collaborative efforts in the music industry also include work with the prominent Hungarian hip-hop group Animal Cannibals, specifically co-producing a music video featuring a "Cleaning Lady" cameo.

Stonewell has been heavily involved in charitable initiatives. In 2025, he established the Mosolymanó csillaga (The Star of Smile) project in memory of the late Horváth Dominik. Releasing under his alias "Atomm", Stonewell composed the tribute track, designed the album cover, and produced the accompanying music video.

In 2026, Stonewell Productions handled the editing, international distribution, and release of Mosolymanó – Dominik könyve, an e-book detailing the family's story. Stonewell waived all publishing fees, with the proceeds of the project dedicated to supporting sick children in cooperation with the family.[5]
