Threesomething is a 2018 American comedy film co-written and produced by James Morosini and Sam Sonenshine, and directed by James Morosini.
The film had its world premiere at Cinequest Film Festival on March 3, 2018. It will be released by Gravitas Ventures on August 21, 2018.[1]
Plot
Best friends Charlie (Sam Sonenshine) and Isaac (James Morosini) try to initiate a threesome with their friend Zoe (Isabelle Chester) via Skype. Intrigued, she agrees to come over to see how things go. Over the course of a weekend in Echo Park, two fall head over heels and two explore a very different path, challenging their ideas of sex, love, and friendship.

Production
Production lasted ten days during Christmas break of December 2016.[2] To keep overhead low and to maximize flexibility, the production crew was usually limited to a single production assistant, with everybody playing multiple roles on set at all times.[3]
Chase Baldocchi wrote the score, with Orange Mighty Trio contributing the theme song.
Release
During post-production, Morosini released a teaser for the film on YouTube.[4] The film premiered at Cinequest on March 3, 2018 and was released on VOD and DVD on August 21, 2018.[5]
Reception
Film Threat reviewed the movie, stating that "What starts out as a fairly average, if not kinky, romance comedy, Threesomething ups the ante with an odd and rather silly twist".[6]
