Thug Shaker

Thug Shaker is a slang phrase for Black men shaking their buttocks from a viral video made in 2020 by Thug Hunter. The video originally gained popularity from an Instagram post in October 2020 by a user known as "Jorge".^[1].

Pentagon leaked documents

In April 2023, a Bellingcat investigation found that a Discord community named "Thug Shaker Central" originally posted leaked documents from the Pentagon, although these claims have not been confirmed^[2]
